This sweet boy is Quincy!

Quincy is an approximately 4.5-month old male Beagle mix who currently weighs around 12 lbs., and will weigh 25-35 lbs. as an adult (best guess).

Quincy is a silly, sweet, playful, & cuddly boy!

Quincy came to the rescue as a young puppy severely malnourished and missing most of his hair! While at his foster home he has had time to heal and thrive and he is now ready for adoption! Quincy’s skin is still patchy but completely healed & his legs look much better and are a lot stronger.

He can usually be found “investigating” all the things and reporting his findings back to his foster mom. He is spunky and sweet and perfect for someone who loves to laugh at puppy antics.

When he is done playing, he loves curling right up next to you for a long nap. He is working hard on house training in his foster home, but like all puppies, he has a small bladder and currently is only able to go without a break for 3-4 hours during the day and 5-6 hours overnight. His ideal home will have someone ready to continue a consistent routine/structure with house training and learning manners. Puppy training is a time consuming process that requires patience, and his perfect home will understand that he needs consistency, structure, and training and be able to put that time in while he is young.

Quincy’s current favorites include:

Playing with toys
Wresting/Running with the other dogs in the home
Exploring outside/“stealing” leaves and sticks
Puppy Treats
Snuggle time
Naps

Quincy’s ideal forever home will have another playful dog or dogs and maybe even some dog savvy/older kids of his very own! With continued puppy training, Quincy is going to make a great life-long companion.

Quincy is crate-trained & working on leash-training, but will need continued assistance!

He is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
