*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a dog and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a dog, after all home checks are done, the dog is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that dog.

Hello! My name is Quimby and I am the most playful and happiest pup you will ever meet! I am an energetic mix pup that is full of life and joy! At 43 pounds, I am the perfect-sized girl for an active family. I am SURE to bring endless smiles with my silly antics and love of adventures. Whether zooming around the yard with my three foster fur siblings or enjoying a cozy snuggle session, I am always ready for whatever the day brings! Looking for a social butterfly who loves everyone they meet, canine or human? That’s me! I get along so great with other dogs and my fosters think I would be an amazing companion for another playful pooch. I am super food-motivated and quick to learn, which has made training a breeze. Favorite things? SNOW!!!! I love bounding through it with pure joy! I am wonderful in my kennel and have good home-life skills. And…my fosters said to tell you that whether you are looking for an adventure buddy or cuddly companion, I am sure to steal your heart with my fun-loving, affectionate self! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400-450.00, which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
