PupPup Black Mouth Cur Mix Jacksonville, FL

Are you looking for a new best friend? If so, Pup Pup is your guy! Pup Pup loves everybody and everything, especially his person! His favorite thing in the world is to be with his person, and he is eager to please you?. Pup Pup is a 7 month-ish 45 pound black mouth cur dog mix. The vet thinks he might be about 50 pounds fully grown.
The good stuff: Pup Pup gets along with all people and dogs that he has encountered. He has shown the ability to play gently with tiny new puppies, rough and tumble with with large adult dogs, and takes social cues from grumpy old boss type dogs. He has not shown any food/resource aggression even in the presence of other dogs demonstrating this behavior toward him. He is leash trained and crate trained; although, he will occasionally whine for just a minute or two when he first goes in to his crate. He is potty trained when kept on a schedule but does have an occasional accident (never in his crate) when not taken out regularly as he has not yet learned to ask to go out. He is treat motivated and quick to learn commands. He currently knows sit, come, stay, and down. He would be an amazing companion for hiking, running, swimming, camping or basically any activity you want to include him in!
The less good stuff: Pup Pup has typical puppy energy and tends to get into mischief when not given an appropriate outlet for all that energy! Having another dog around to keep him occupied is enough to keep him out of trouble. Remember that command he knows - “down” - That’s an important one as he tends to jump to be close to you. He will need a strong and consistent pack leader to continue to work on his manners. For this reason he may not be appropriate for families with very small children if left unsupervised as he may jump and scratch them or knock them over. That being said, Pup Pup is just a little love bug who is ready to find his furever home and shower you with love!
