DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Trevor! Trevor came from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama so he brough his Southern charm and manners with him! He is now on the hunt for his forever home. Could you be that lucky person? Trevor is 100% adorable and would prefer a home with another dog! Trevor has the most soulful, beautiful brown eyes and winsome expression - that is when he is not hiding. He is very sweet, gentle and great with other dogs. Although Trevor can be a bit shy, at his young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization. Trevor is ready to join your pack, submit an application today!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
