Meet PUCKETT ("PUCK")

PLEASE, PLEASE READ carefully. Most of your questions will be answered in this biography.

PUCKETT a/k/a PUCK~

*Housetraining - working on my skills and learning fast - I'm just a puppy
*I'm also working on my leash manners like any good puppy should.
*Due to Size, if children are in the home, they should be at least 8 yrs old.
*Good With Other Nice Dogs, but would be fine as an only dog.
*Working on Crate Training.

PUCKETT is still a young pup and wants a home that understands the world of puppies. He will only be placed in a loving home that is dedicated to work on house training, leash manners, and will introduce him to a variety of safe activities and experiences so he can be comfortable in the world.

With his unique bi-color eyes (one gold; one blue), this puppy is handsome. Could there be some Husky in his DNA; perhaps. He's working hard to learn good house manners, but he wants to chase the cat in his foster home; so, we are recommending him for a home without felines.

PUCKETT has medium energy and likes to use some of that energy to cuddle with his humans. There is a young girl in his foster home that is very dog savvy, and she is teaching Puckett how to behave around children. However, he is still a puppy and prone to jumping up and play nipping.

We believe PUCKETT to be a Lab Retriever Mix with perhaps Husky or Shepherd thrown into the mix. His estimated DOB is 4/7/2020, and he weighs 24 pounds as of 10/09/20. We never met Mom or Dad, but our best guess is that Puckett will be at least 60 pounds at adulthood. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. You can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details that are not included in this biography.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
