Priscilla Pit Bull Terrier Mokena, IL

Priscilla is a favorite amongst the staff and volunteers at Naws. Just look at her! She is a collector of plushies and loves to play, even if it’s tossing a toy to herself. Priscilla enjoys short walks and then wants to get right back to snuggling. Even though she has the most gentle loving soul, Priscilla has been let down by too many people in her life making her a bit apprehensive upon meeting strangers. But once she warms up to you, you’ll never know a greater love! Although Priscilla likes kiddos, we ultimately believe she would prefer a pretty calm and peaceful house hold, so would prefer for her to go home with older children or no kids. We also think she would prefer to be the only pet in the home so she could soak up all the love, but would do well with a calmer dog or a kitty.

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
