PRESTON (Neutered!) Hound Mix Crossville, TN

PRESTON is a white Hound mix male with black brindle markings. He arrived at the shelter near the end of May 2022 (yes, seriously!) with a group of dogs around his age or slightly older. He was listed as about 5 months old at intake and he has now been sitting at the shelter for nearly 2 years,. He is always interested to see which staff member is walking past his kennel and gets along well with his kennel mate. Staff thinks he is a sweetheart! Thanks to a partnership between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, PRESTON was neutered and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, February 12. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Interested? Serious adopters are asked to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt this beautiful dog. Even better, consider taking a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
