Meet Poppy
UPDATE: Dear POPPY has been adopted!! Yeah!!
POPPY has come into rescue with us :) She is a sweetheart and adapting well to life in her foster home. We'll update her bio as we get to know her better.
POPPY is a 45lbs., Female, 1 yr. old Shepherd (?) mix. This young girl was found as a baby astray by Delano Animal Control on November 9, 2023 (baby picture included in the photos). She literally, grew up in the shelter(!) Poppy is a very sweet and gentle girl. Shy at first, she warms up quickly. She still gets the puppy zoomies sometimes and is SO happy when she has some space to run around. She LOVES other friendly dogs, especially ones that will run with her. She's a very soft girl in her play. Poppy tested well when shown a kitten at the shelter so has potential to be cat friendly as well (video available).
Poppy is Spayed, has received her Rabies Vaccine, Microchip and DAPP Vaccine.
