Poncho Yellow Labrador Retriever & Husky Mix Idaho Falls, ID

Hey there! I'm Poncho, an 8-month-old Yellow Lab/Husky blend, and I'm basically the sweetest, happiest pup you'll ever meet. I've got a personality that shines bright like a diamond, and I love to spread joy wherever I go! I've got a lot of energy and an even bigger heart, and I'm looking for a family who's ready to match my enthusiasm.

I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm pretty smart and a quick learner! I'm super food motivated (I mean, who isn't?), so training is a breeze when treats are involved. I know lots of commands like "sit," "lay," "bed," "up," "down," "leave it," "paw," and even "go inside." Oh, and get this-I've learned to ring a bell on the door when I need to go outside! Pretty cool, right? I'm definitely ready to keep learning and become the absolute best boy ever.

I love being outside-running, playing, and chewing on toys (and apples! They're my favorite!). I'm crate trained and almost fully house trained, though I could use a little help with leash manners. I get so excited about walks that sometimes I forget to be calm, but I know I'll get the hang of it with some guidance. I'm a bit jumpy and can nibble on people for attention, but I'm working on it. I just want to be loved!

I'm great with dogs, so I'd love a canine buddy to play with. But because I can be a little jumpy and tend to nibble, I think I'd do best in a home with kids who are 12 years or older. I've got a ton of energy, so I'll need a family that can keep up with me and provide a large backyard with a tall fence where I can safely run off all my puppy energy.

I don't know how I feel about cats yet, but if I had to guess, I'm more interested in playing than anything else. I'd love a family that's active and ready to give me lots of love and structure so I can grow into the best dog I can be.
