Just look at this polar bear! Po is looking for his forever home!!! He is a 2-3 year old DEAF pup but that doesn’t stop at all! He is very smart!
He LOVES being outside doing what we like to call Po things! He will sniff every blade of grass and loves to watch the geese on the lake or the golfers.
He LOVES kids!!! He loves his people!!! His favorite place is in your lap!!! He is good for belly rubs and ear scratches for as long as you will allow! ??????
He likes other dogs. He is submissive to them.
He is perfect on a leash. He loves a good walk.
He is good in his kennel as long as he gets proper exercise and time out of the kennel.
He loves a good chew toy and tennis ball. Po would love a fenced yard so he can run and play.
The ABSOLUTE BEST thing about Po is his smile. He is always happy to see you! I can promise you the best butt wiggles and a thousand Po kisses daily!
Po needs a family who will not give up on him. He needs time to adjust to his new home and patience to learn your routine. He is smart and catches on fast!
Po is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. His adoption fee is sponsored for the most amazing home ever for him!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
