Most all of her life was spent in an outdoor, elevated box, just being let out a few times a year to hunt. She's very quiet and gentle, and loves to be paid attention to. As soon as you stop loving on her she will scamper about in a happy dance that will make you laugh! When Pippy is on the move, she has the most adorable little trot. She has a LOT more energy than you would expect for her estimated age. Pippy loves to be outdoors and learned quite quickly how to use the dog door in her foster home. She's made straight A's in house training. Crating is no problem and she will often choose to nap there if the door is open. She is very friendly with other dogs and would probably play if one would play back gently. If they are too rough she will skitter away. Pippi's heart has suffered a bit from the heartworms, the medication she's been on has helped and we were able to move forward with a much needed dental. She is feeling so much better! We have also been able to have her spayed and removed some mammary tumors. We have, however, decided that it is in Pippy's best interest to do the slow kill method of heartworm treatment. We want her to have the very best quality of life because she is enjoying herself so much now! Please consider opening your home and heart to this little girl.
