- Origin: Backyard Breeder. - Adoption fee: $375.00 - Spayed and UTD on Shots.     A Word from Me.   This may be hard for me because I am usually very modest, but I'll have a go at it. I come from a "backyard breeder" situation.   Despite that, I am really well adjusted and I display the typical traits of the Papillon temperament. I love to be with people as well as my four-footed friends and I really enjoy the outdoors. I am a happy and friendly dog but my sense of adventure sometimes lands me in trouble because I am an expert climber and find that chain-linked fences are no challenge at all! I am surprised that the humans here are not proud of my achievements in this regard but, for some reason, they prefer that I stay within boundaries! Do you, by chance, have need of a loving, gentle, fun-loving companion and have a secure garden where I can exercise in safety? If so h ow about putting in an application for me today?   And now a Word from my foster Mom.   I have only had Pippi a few days but she has already bonded with me. Her favourite pastimes are going for long walks or just sitting out in the garden with me. She is a little shy at first but bonds very quickly and is very affectionate. She is not a barker at all and is calm and quiet even when the other dogs are kicking up a fuss. She is crate trained and house trained, walks great on a leash, and is a delight to have around. In order to prevent behaviour problems as a result of being pent up, daily walks have to be an essential part of the Papillon's routine. They will also enjoy a good run around a safe contained area such as a large fenced backyard. Because Pippi scales chain-linked fences, it is imperative that she be either contained within a very secure area with a wooden fence or kept on-leash when outside.
