Piper Border Collie Bend, OR

Meet Piper, a ~1.5 year old female border collie. Piper was originally rescued from an Idaho shelter and adopted but unfortunately she has been returned by her adopter due to not being compatible with chickens and due to her size. She is 1.5 years old. Her foster describes her as a lap dog trapped in a 65 pound body. She is exuberant, loving, goofy, and loyal. She enjoys laying on your feet while you work.
She does well with cats, other dogs, and children - but needs more work on jumping before she can be around young kids. She is extremely playful and is overjoyed when given affection. She would love another dog to play with.
She is working on jumping, leash work, and separation anxiety. She did well at her adopters when left alone with access to a yard, at her current fosters she is using an impact crate.
This goofy girl has so much love to give and needs somebody that can continue helping teach her how to keep her excitement under control.
