Please share Piper’s story. She’s been in our rescue for almost a year?

Meet Piper! She is a sweet and goofy dog with a very spunky personality. While she is very vocal when playing, she’s pretty quiet and doesn’t bark much. Piper is a 15 month old lab/pitty mix who was found incredibly malnourished and had most likely been neglected/abused. She still gobbles her food and tries to snag food where she can, but she’s starting to learn that she gets food on a regular basis. Piper loves people and all animals, including cats. It does take her a little bit to get used to new people but, once she does, it’s nonstop cuddles and kisses! Piper is not a fan of loud noises/crowds, but her confidence grows everyday. She loves car rides, playing with her dog and cat foster siblings, and cuddling with her humans. She would do great in a home with older children and furry friends to play with. She doesn’t like being alone and would love to have someone home most of the day. If you’re looking for a fun-loving velcro pup, Piper is your girl!
