Meet Pilot
Pilot was picked up off of a very busy road in Conway. When we took him to the vet to have him scanned for a microchip, we found that he was originally adopted from HCACC. The vet contacted his adopter who said he re-homed Pilot because he no longer wanted him, but he didn't know who he re-homed him to. So we held Pilot for 7 days, posted him on a Lost and Found FB page and have had no one come forward to claim him. Personally, we think Pilot was dumped. He was slightly emaciated and very fearful, the vet said he had clearly been on his own for awhile.
Pilot is a year old now and a shy boy at first, but once he knows you he's a love. He needs an adopter who will understand what he's been through and give him the time he needs to get adjusted to another new environment. In the first 10 months of his life he'd been in a county shelter, adopted, possibly re-homed, possibly dumped and living on his own to now another rescue. That's a LOT for a young dog to endure.
Pilot is great with other dogs, he loves to run around and play. Heck, he just loves to RUN! That's why it's impossible to get a good picture of his face! He is neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and on a monthly flea/heartworm regimen. If you'd like to meet Pilot, please message us.
