Bonnie was born February 5 in SW Virginia. She came to HTAR with her brother when she was six weeks old. They were malnourished and needed some TLC but quickly recovered with regular meals and veterinary care. Clyde has been adopted but Bonnie is still looking for her forever home. Bonnie is buddies with an older male foster dog and likes spending her time outside with him. Bonnie likes to play hard with other dogs so she would be best as a solo dog or a more submissive dog! We're anticipating Bonnie might be about 50 lbs when grown.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program/
