Phillip is an 8-month-old black lab mix with a strong personality and a whole lot of charm! He’s not afraid to take charge, and he’s ready to be the boss of his new home. Whether he’s leading the pack or lounging on his favorite spot, Phillip is always full of energy and ready for fun. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
