Hi I'm Phil!
I'm a 10 lb rat terrier/chihuahua mix who is looking for his forever home. I like other small dogs and cats, but would prefer not to live with any large sized doggies. I am a sweet and well behaved boy that, like many other small doggies, can sometimes be a little shy at first. But don't worry, I come along in no time! I would love a sweet family to be adopted by. I like kids, and don't have a mean bone in my body.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
