*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a puppy, after all home checks are done, then the puppy is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that puppy.

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400-450 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***



Hello! My name is Petunia and I am just as sweet as any flower. My beginning was a little rough but that has not slowed me down a bit…well, truth be told, I am shy at first but give me some time to realize that I am safe and I am all in! Cuddles and kisses abound. I have made great friends with the resident canines in my foster home, so a home with other dogs is ok fine by me! In fact, I couldn't imagine a home without a friend to play with and snuggle with.  So really, a home with a canine friend and a fenced yard is a must for me! I love the great outdoors and will happily lay in the grass with something to chew on, race around the yard when the zoomies strike or when I think a bunny may have trespassed on my territory (!), or sit quietly beside you. I have not met many kids yet, but I really do think I would love them. I can be a bit of a bowling ball when I get excited so a little bit older kids would probably be best. I will come to my new furever home up to date on all my shots, spayed, crate trained and house trained. Perfection in the perfect medium sized pup!
