Meet Pete
Pete was found running loose in the country. Some nice people befriended him, fed him, and socialized him a little before reaching out to the rescue.
The day we picked him up, he had never had a collar on, did not know what a leash was, had never been in a car or a crate and had never been ,inside. He is somewhat submissive and gets along with all dogs. He has acclimated quite well to indoor living, loves to snuggle and is house trained. He is a little nervous around new people and new surroundings but adjsts quickly. With his one blue eye and one amber eye his is quite striking in appearance. His one flaw is chewing on things, shoes, pens, pencils, dish towels, etc. so things need to be out of his reach when he is alone.
