Meet PEPE' the chi

Pepe and his 3 other siblings, and mother were dumped during the middle of the night at an intersection; another car came by and ran over PEPE and his brother who sadly did not survive. PEPE was rescued by PATTY. PEPE had a broken pelvic, having surgery to insert a plate. PEPE is recovering nicely and has 3 more weeks of laser therapy to help the healing process. He holds the little rear leg up when walking but will eventually be able to walk on it with no pain. He is a LOVER and wants to be in your lap. He uses a piddle pad or goes out, does not like to leave a mess and tries to cover it up. HE is eating good and is a very quiet companion. Loves to be near you, or in your lap, and sleeps in the curve of your arm under covers. Very loyal.
UPDATE as of JAN 15 2024: Pepe's bad leg is wearing has a worn socket and will need to be removed, with full recovery without replacement. ARC is taking donations to fund the $1000 surgery.
