STATEN ISLAND: Sweet & lovable Penny L is actually priceless!

Penny L is 1 - 2 years old and weighs 37 lbs. This pretty gal looks like she has some malinois in her, but she is so tiny! She truly is unique. Before being surrendered to the city shelter in May 2024(due to moving into a home where someone had allergies), she was with previous owner for 7 months and lived with another smaller dog. She described as “having the sweetest soul, she loves to be loved. She is incredibly smart and has a high drive to please.” Penny is friendly with other dogs but can get protective over her toys if another dog tries to take them. She may growl and guard them, but this has never escalated. Penny prefers a home without cats, as she does like to chase small animals. Very housetrained. Allowed previous owner to bathe, brush and trim nails. Penny is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home!
