This little freckled face tricolored pup is all joy! Penny is a Cavalier Spaniel mix who is very loved. She is just 2 years old with a long tricolored fluffy coat and sparkling eyes. She tends to be a bit timid at first meetings but with just a little TLC is your best friend. She would excel in a quiet caring adult home . Once you are friends with sweet Penny you need to watch out when you sit down as she will be in your lap ASAP! Penny is very smart, alert, and treat motivated which will help with her positive training. She would be a great little companion this summer for walks to the park, travel adventures, and cuddles on the deck. If you follow our rescue you might remember Penny as a sweet pup who we fundraised for shortly after her arrival to our rescue. When we were contacted to take in Penny, a loving pup prone to recurring ear infections, we welcomed her as we do all. What we didn't know is that Penny had two previously broken elbows that had never been treated. With kind donors help, we were able to get Penny two elbow reconstruction surgeries which had to be done months apart. Penny has healed, and although she is doing well there is a chance she will develop arthritis later on. She is searching for a family who will help her maintain her weight and who are able to provide her daily joint supplements and regular walks. Penny would do well with another similar sized dog who is calm. We think Penny, due to her fragile state post surgery, would do best in an adult only home. What Penny wants more than anything is a loving, committed forever family to give her security and make her a member of the fam too! Penny's DOB is 6/23/20. and weighs 23 lbs.
Penny's adoption fee is $600. This includes the spay surgery, age appropriate current vaccines , microchip, and preventative flea treatment.
