This adorable girl is Penelope!
Once upon a time, in a tiny rural town, a little 10 pound Chihuahua mix named Penelope found herself in a big situation—abandoned and extremely pregnant when she was practically a baby herself! Rescued just in time, she gave birth to four beautiful babies in the safety of her foster home. Now that her mama duties are over, she’s ready for her next role: someone’s forever baby. She is around 1-year old.
Penelope is pure joy in a tiny package. She’s playful, snuggly, and full of personality! After getting to know them, she loves to romp around with other small, playful dogs. But at the end of the day, she’s happiest curling up with her person, watching TV, or snuggling under the covers for a cozy night’s sleep.
A few things to know about this little queen:
90% housetrained with a doggie door—she’ll need patience and practice in a home without one.
A connoisseur of chew sticks (rawhide-free, of course!) and tiny toys.
A talented dancer—she twirls for treats!
A devoted fan of children and a polite passenger in the car.
A weather diva—rain? No, thank you.
A true Chihuahua at heart—she will proudly announce her reign to the neighborhood dogs.
