Meet Pebbles
Pebbles - approximately 1.5 - 2 year old Pit Bull mix.
Pebbles was brought to us after being dumped on the street after giving birth to a litter of puppies. She has a vet appointment on April 7th & will be brought up to date on all vaccinations!
- Ok with dogs (read more about our evaluation below)
- Ok with savvy children
- Unknown if ok with cats & small children
- Potty trained
- Super lovable with everyone & loves to give kisses!
- Loves all toys
- Training needs: basic training, crate training, curbing separation anxiety, help with establishing boundaries
We introduced Pebbles to a 7-month old Pit Bull Mix, "Moose". She was very excited and did not show any visible or audible signs of aggression. After walking and doing intermittent introductions, while praising positive moments, she started to calm down and not over focus on Moose as much. They then officially met and she was very good. She really wanted to play with Moose and had a very nice composition. Eventually she did not even care that Moose was there and we continued about our walk!
Her energy level is high and some other dogs may not be as welcoming to that. With proper introductions and plenty of patience we believe she will acclimate to a home with another dog.
Adopters must understand that it will take some time for Pebbles to learn proper boundaries inside the home. She will need someone that will continue to work on her manners and basic training (eye contact, jumping, easily distracted). She’s a very good girl!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Pebbles, you must fill out an adoption application.
