Meet Pearl

Pearl is a typical hound mix, white with brown spots, about 6 years old, active and happiest when she can be outdoors chasing bunnies and other critters. She spends her time running in the yard or napping in spots where she is comfortable. That is her world. People are present and she comes for a scratch now and again, but is not a cuddly kind of dog. She is comfortable with her family she trusts and is calm with those she knows. New people arriving; especially workmen or strangers she is afraid of.
Pearl is a sweet girl though. She walks on a leash nicely for long walks with a gentle leader. She is fine with cats and does not give them any notice at all. She gets along well with other dogs. A large property with space to roam and people who will feed her and be present in the background is her world.
If you have a quiet home with lots of space without children running in and out unexpectedly, Pearl will be a wonderful addition.
