And now a few words from me:

Hello There! I am a super tiny and super cute Maltese that came from Missouri to live in Canada! Yeey! I am so happy about that! I love this country already!

For 6 years I lived with a breeder and had to have babies all the time. I was so tired and prayed every day for my life to change. I guess I prayed hard enough because in March 2012 Loyal Rescue made my dream come true! I am a little scared of all these changes and all the people I see that want to pet me, the nice clean spaces and all the attention I get. You know...I am not used to any of that. One thing I love for sure is a nice, clean, cozy bed. I never had one before. It is so nice :) and I just want to be in it for long periods of time and relax..oh! this is the life I deserve! I am shy but I know once I get used to this new life I will get braver and adventurous. There are so many things I want to see, smell, and explore!

I am a very good girl and I will try my best to continue to be an excellent girl so someone will fall in love with me and take me home. I do want a forever home and I was told I have to behave to get one so that’s what I’ll do! In the mean time I am here waiting and enjoying my new home, my new brothers and sisters and of course...my new bed...ohh my new bed!!!!!!!

And now a few words from my foster mom: I am so proud to be the foster mother to such little, gorgeous, precious girl. I can tell already this one is going to be very hard to let go :( Pearl just arrived today so tired, thirsty and hungry that she ate, drank and went to sleep right away. Then she woke up and was just fine snuggling to my husband on the couch. She is a bit scared of the whole world but this is normal in breeder dogs at the beginning but based on what I am seeing I am very confident she will be just fine in a couple of days when she gets used to her new life and surroundings. Because she is coming from a breeder her housetraining will take a little longer but I will try my hardest to get her there. Today being her first day in my condo she already went to the pee pad twice!! I made such a big deal of it and gave her treats and she accepted them. I think she will get it very soon. She seems very smart. I will update her bio as time passes and I get to know more of Pearl’s personality.
