Meet Peanut
Hi, my name is Peanut! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Playful, energetic, silly
-Can Live with Kids: Yes
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - slow and supervised introductions.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes - pending introduction at WHS.
-Can do Apartment Living: Yes if given plenty of mental and physical stimulation every day.
-Potty Trained: Working on it
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, 6 week puppy course.
-Energy Level: HIGH
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, good to go.
Meet Peanut - a high energy puppy in need of a stable, patient, and loving home. Peanut was adopted from another shelter and brought to WHS after the original family was moving. He hasn't had much stability, so he really needs someone dedicated to giving him a FOREVER home. Puppies can be a lot of work, so he wouldn't be a good fit for someone who works long hours or is gone often. Peanut needs someone to hangout with him and work on his basic manners! If you'd like to add this cutie to your life, please fill out an application.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
