Welcome to rescue Peaches!

This sweet girl was an intake from the Animal Care Center in Barrington. She was found as a stray with a large mammary tumor. They removed the tumor to find she has Mammary carcinoma, grade 2, which sounds like has a 20% chance of metastasis and/or reoccurrence. We are still hopeful she will find a good home regardless of this!

She is a Maltese and only weighs about 10 pounds. They estimated age around 8-9 years old. She seems to be potty trained. So far she gets along great with other dogs. She seems to like people with a slow introduction so would recommend no little kids. She likes to sit on a lap and relax! She loves food & treats! She also appears to be potty trained and kennel trained!

All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. All our dogs go to their new homes with their collar/leash, dog bed, favorite toy(s), bowls, and some food to acclimate them.
