Meet Payton, an energetic, one-and-a-half-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of spunk and a personality thats as big as her zoomies! Payton came to us a little unsure of the world, but thanks to some love, patience, and trust-building, shes blossomed into a playful, outgoing, and joyful dog whos ready to find her forever family.
What We Know About Payton:
Personality: Payton is a bundle of joy with a fun-loving, spunky personality. Shes playful, outgoing, and loves nothing more than belly scratches and quality playtime with her humans. Shes always ready for a game or some snuggles and will keep you laughing with her goofy antics.
Playful and Social: Payton has no problem keeping up with her larger dog siblings, including two big doodles. She loves to run, play, and engage in their wild games. Shes got a ton of energy, and when shes in the mood, shell happily join in on all the action. Its worth noting that while she can be dominant at times, shes good at standing her ground, and the other dogs respect her boundaries.
Toys and Chews: Payton has a soft spot for toys, especially wiffle balls, and she loves chewing on bones. However, she can be a bit mischievous when unsupervised, chewing on small household items she finds lying around. A little bit of monitoring goes a long way with this girl, but when shes given appropriate toys to play with, shes content and entertained for hours.
Training & Potty Habits: Payton is crate trained and has no issues going potty in her crate. Were still working on full house potty training, but shes making progress. With patience and consistency, were confident shell continue to improve. Early on, she did display some guarding behavior around food and bones, but thats significantly improved as shes learned to trust her humans.
Barking & Social Behavior: Payton is pretty quiet around the house and doesnt bark muchunless shes around another dog whos barking. Then, shell join in on the fun! She hasnt had any interaction with cats, so were not sure how shed do with one, but she gets along well with other dogs and is generally non-aggressive.
Health: Paytons eye has been a bit goopy, but were currently treating it with eye drops. Otherwise, shes a healthy, vibrant girl with a lot of energy and a love for life.
