Weighing in at a solid 55 pounds, Patches might be a senior, but don’t let her age fool you—she’s got enough love and loyalty to fill every corner of your heart and every sunny patch in your yard.
Patches lived her entire life with her owner until he passed, and now she’s navigating the world of new beginnings. Currently in a foster home since April, she's proven herself to be a loving companion. However, her foster’s other dogs just aren’t quite her style. She might be happiest as the only pet in the house, or with someone experienced in slow, gentle dog introductions. Patches isn’t here for the chaos; she’s looking for the quiet, stable life of leisurely walks, sunbathing, and being your number-one pal.
In terms of training, she’s no rookie. Patches is crate-trained and respectful when left alone, with no history of chewing, digging, or redecorating your home in her own style. She’s moderately active, so if you’re into a stroll around the block or a lazy afternoon in the yard, she’s all in. She’s got a knack for bonding deeply with her humans, making her a loyal sidekick who’ll watch over you with love and just a touch of protective instinct.
