Patate is a 13 yr old short haired dachshund who enjoys daily walks, gets along well with other dogs, enjoys squeaky balls, loves belly rubs and cuddles, and absolutely loves comfort, especially his fluffy blanket.
Patate sleeps under the covers in his own dog bed, and will cuddle with his foster Mom when he gets up in the morning.
The little guy will signal when he needs to go out and routinely does his business on his walks. He has used a pee pad during wet weather.
Commands Patate knows: come, sit, no, drop it, wait and go to bed. He likes routine and has a way of talking to you when you forget something.
Patate is a good natured, quiet, easy to care for senior. He would be a wonderful companion for a retired person or couple and would do best with another dog in the home, for company.
