Meet Parker
Meet Parker! Parker is about 7 months old and about 10 lbs. Our best guess is a Min Pin/Chi/Whippet mix. We have no idea how big this puppy will be full grown
Good things come in small packages. Like jewelry....or if your into furry four legged things... Parker! Parker hails from Puerto Rico and thanks to the rescue in Puerto Rico, Canines & Kitties, and a sweet volunteer who carried him onto a plane to the mainland, he is ready to live his best life in a home and off the streets. Parker is a high energy puppy who is still very much a puppy. Parker loves all people and is ready to go on any adventure. Parker is all sweetness and when he wags his tail, it's a full body wiggle. Parker is crate trained and is doing great with house breaking. He is a smart boy and is learning to ring the bell to go outside. He loves other dogs and is good with kids (young and old)! Baby puppies will require the adopter to be at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions!
This puppy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue***
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal.
