This is Paris, she is a 3 yr old rescue from a Hoarder situation. She is a rat terrier weighs about 9 pounds, is fully vetted, and needs a patient, understanding quiet home. She is very timid of new people and situations, but quickly bonded to her foster mom and dad,is very affectionate and loves to be next to her person most of the time. She needs time to build her confidence and come into her own. If you are looking for a devoted lifelong companion, and your home is quiet and you can take her out for scheduled potty breaks, and are willing to continue to help Paris grow more comfortable please apply. My life until now
was one of neglect, fear, and pain
in a house with so many others
many who have died in vain
I came from Hialeah hoarders, 
bad breeders gone wrong
I was lucky, I was rescued , 
but 3 years of hell was too long.
I never went outdoors, 
never saw grass or sun
knew no kindness or compassion
didn't know how to run
My life was a horror
lacking food, water and care
locked away in filth, feces and urine 
the stench so strong in the air 
I was lucky to get out a few
months sooner than many others
Into the care of Chesed Rescue
along with some others
There were more than hundred animals 
when the law finally stepped in.
Those monsters arrested, I hope
they can NEVER do this again
My life now is much better
With my foster mom and dad
I'm learning how to be a dog
And getting good things I never had
Like love and compassion
air conditioning, food and water
Learning to potty on the grass
and how to play nice with others
I'm trying real hard
to let go of my fear
that new people won't hurt me
they just want to be near
I'm very loving and cuddly
to the people that I know
I need time to trust them, 
time to come into my own
