Papa Smurf (Neutered) Miniature Pinscher Marietta, OH

Papa Smurf is a cute 6-1/2 year old male Miniature Pinscher mix who was brought to the HSOV on May 3, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found him on State Route 7 in the Reno Ohio area along with Smurfette (a beautiful black-and-white female Labrador Retriever). Neither of the pair were wearing a collar. Papa Smurf was microchipped but, unfortunately, the microchip was not registered.

This handsome little man has a tan short smooth coat, rather long legs, a long tail, and a classic MinPin face with dark brown eyes, a black button nose on his slender muzzle, and large erect ears.

Papa Smurf has a friendly, rather cautious, disposition and a sweet personality.

Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Tracy Lynn for accompanying Papa Smurf outdoors for his Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet photos on the afternoon of May 4th 2024. Papa Smurf was a little apprehensive, but he seemed to instinctively strike beautiful poses and responded to lavish attention/good conversation.

Papa Smurf weighs 18 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash for Tracy.

Papa Smurf has already been neutered.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Papa Smurf will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

Papa Smurf was adopted on June 7, 2024. Unfortunately Papa Smurf was returned on June 8th 2024 since his behavior was a little too rough for the other dog in his new home (and kept jumping on top of her to be on the family's couch).
