*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a puppy, after all home checks are done, then the puppy is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that puppy.

Hi there! My name is Palmer, and I’m a gorgeous male puppy looking for my forever home. I may be young, but I’ve got a whole lot of love and excitement to bring to a family who will cherish me.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. First off, I was found the day after New Year’s Day in a box with 7 other puppies. A kind Uber driver turned us in to the Chicago police station who then reached out to CDR who took us all in! Foster mom says out of the bunch I’m the sweetest. When my brothers are running around chasing each other I head over to my foster mom to hang on her lap and get cuddles. Not that I don’t like running around- but sometimes a guy just wants some one on one time and some belly rubs! Since I’m only 10 weeks old I’m working on my house training, but since I’m so smart I’m sure I’ll catch on quickly!
I’m really excited to find my forever home, and I’m hoping to find a family who will provide me with all the love, care, and attention I deserve. I thrive in an environment where I can get plenty of exercise and playtime, so an active household would be ideal for me. Training and socialization are also important for me to grow into a well-behaved and happy companion.

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
