This young boy came in to the Stanislaus shelter with a broken leg (a nondisplaced short oblique fracture of radius and ulna). It is expected that he will make a full recovery with kennel rest. Per his records at the shelter, he made strides in his recovery while there.
Shelter records show he had an owner, and his stay at the shelter had been extended to allow owners time to reclaim him. Letters to the owner were returned as unable to forward, emails and phone calls went unreturned. No one ever came to the shelter looking for him - so we stepped in to rescue him.

Paladin has a vet appointment for x-rays and medical treatment based on his current needs. He is a happy, sweet and social puppy that desperately needs some training for manners (mostly jumping up) but is otherwise fantastic.
