Meet Pablo. This sweet senior boy was surrendered to the rescue by his owners who just didn't have time to care for him. The husband is a pilot and is gone a lot and the mom is commuting back and forth to care for her dad, and Pablo was boarding way too often. They had him for almost 8 years and it was not an easy decision, but they are friends with Pablo's foster mom, Amy, who offered to take him and help him find his true forever home.

Pablo is living with Amy and her pack which includes a dog, Higgins, and three cats. The minute he came in the house, Pablo sniffed Higgins and they began to follow each other around - they were quick buddies. He's also very respectful of the cats. They sleep side-by-side at night in bed and have had no conflict. Pablo is a very adaptable pup who

would do fine as an only dog, with other calm dogs, or with cats.

Pablo may technically be a senior but he still has a lot of spunk in him. He's a vivacious boy who has a passion for toys. He likes to compile all the toys in the bathroom and will grab one on the way out for potty breaks. He wants Amy to throw them when they go outside and he dutifully retrieves them. He has excellent house manners, is fully potty trained, and shows no anxiety about being left home alone.

Overall, Pablo is a confident, social little guy who loves snuggles. Sometimes he can be a lap dog, but he rolls over the minute you want to pet him to show you his belly. If you call him, he will jump right up and plop down beside you. He loves to sit up high on the couch or pillows and loves car rides or just being with people. He greets visitors with excitement, but no barking. He enjoys walks and has good leash manners. Basically, this little guy is ready to go and dog and just needs a family to love. He is such a good boy!
