We are looking for a Christmas miracle for Owen, the wonderful dog looking to find a home this holiday season: "Owen, a large and loveable 4-5 year old lab (as of Dec 2024), is seeking a special family to call his own this Christmas. Athletic, smart, independent, playful, and protective, Owen has a lot of love to give and is looking for a family that will love and care for him. Due to his size and energy level, Owen would do best in a home with no small children or other pets. He requires a very secure fenced-in area as he is an escape artist and a runner. He is a friendly dog who loves to play fetch and splash around in baby pools. With the right care and attention, Owen will be a loyal companion. Owen has been through a lot in the past few years and has been with the shelter for far too long (3 years). He is a staff and volunteer favorite, and we are sure that once you meet him, he will capture your heart. Please keep in mind that Owen is looking for a calm and experienced home where he can feel safe and loved.
