Orion Terrier Mix Vancouver, BC

**Note: Currently, Orion is in Korea, but we are looking for his forever home in Vancouver. His flight from Korea to Vancouver is scheduled for Oct 24.

Background: Orion was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Buan, Korea in the spring of 2023. After spending some time in another shelter, he moved to our partner boarding house this summer, where he’s been living peacefully with other dogs.

Personality & Socialization: Orion is an incredibly smart and obedient boy with a moderate energy level. He’s great with people, including men, and isn’t shy around strangers. Affectionate and eager to be by your side, Orion thrives on human companionship. While he gets along well with gentle, friendly dogs, he tends to avoid those who are hyper or bossy. He hasn’t had any experience with cats or young children yet, but his calm nature makes him a people-oriented dog who loves to please.

Behaviors: Indoors, Orion is quiet and well-mannered. He’s shown no signs of destructive behavior and prefers to do his business outside but will use pee pads if needed. He’s also comfortable in the car, at the vet, and during grooming or bath time, calmly allowing his humans to handle him. Orion walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys his daily outings.

Health and Diet: Orion is neutered, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on all vaccinations. He takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites and is in great health. Orion enjoys dry kibble twice a day and currently has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Orion is the perfect companion for someone who works from home or is retired and has plenty of time to spend with him. He’s a loving, friendly, and affectionate dog who reads the room well and aims to please his humans. Obedient and smart, Orion will make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right family.
