Opal Old English Sheepdog Greensburg, IN

* * * * * * * * * * * Opal was adopted 5/21/13 * * * * * * * * * * ! They call me Opal.  I'm a little confused because I'm not sure how I ended up in the shelter and then in rescue.  My family evidently didn't want me anymore.  People say I'm beautiful and I believe them.  When I was found, I had a very nasty cyst on my bottom and now that it's been removed I'm think I look very pretty from both ends!  I'm very small for an Old English Sheepdog but I've been told that good things come in small packages!  My vets tell me I'm around 4-5 years old and that's a very good age.  Wise enough to have lots of good manners but still very playful and strong.  I was very well-behaved at my spa day, standing very good in the tub for my bath and enjoying the blow dryer on my hair.  I love to be handled and can't get close enough to my foster mom.  She's the best!  I like my OES foster brother too.  Not sure if I like cats but they're probably okay.  Older kids that are kind and loving to animals would be fine, too!  I enjoy playing with toys and scattering them all around.  Car rides are the best!  I am always anxious to stay with my human friends so wherever they go, I expect to follow.  It's been a rough road up until now but I finally think it's time to settle down.  I'm already spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and crate trained and housebroken.  To be considered for any dog from Midwest Old English Sheepdog Rescue, please submit an Adoption Application from our web site:  http://moesr.org
