Meet Ollie

Ollie is a sweet natured, fully vetted, 70#, great pyr/shep mix.
Her is currently in a foster home with a 10 and 13 year old and loves them and all of their friends. He is even good with the neighbors dogs.

Ollie is house trained and does not chew on things or make a mess outside of shedding. He enjoys being brushed but his favorite pasttime is to snuggle on the couch. If you do not want a dog that likes the couch, then he is not the dog for you. Many nights, he goes into the living room to sleep on the couch.

Ollie rides fantastic in the car, plays fetch and enjoys being outside. He does like going for walks however he pulls and can be reactive to some people (hats or sunglasses) so he needs to work on his stranger danger. He is also scared of large trucks that pass by too closely.

He knows sit, paw and has been working on recall. For the most part, he is very quiet except when someone comes to the front door. He really just naps during the day unless you offer to take him for a walk or to go outside to potty.

Ollie really is a wonderful dog.

Ollie is great with smaller, female dogs. He originally lived in a home with a dog, but he would need a supervised meeting for a larger, male dog.

Ollie does have a high prey drive and chases squirels and ducks.

He is best suited for a home that is active and enjoys being in the yard. He is very sweet and quirky and just a love bug.
