Meet Ollie
TTCR is helping Ollie find a new home with no small children. Please read ALL the information about him before inquiring.
“Hi. My name is Ollie Bug. I am an energetic 2 year old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi. My birthday is January 7th, 2021. I love to be the center of attention and LOVE cuddles especially if you sit on the floor with me. Speaking of sitting, I’m a good boy and I know how to sit on command and I am crate and potty trained!
My favorite things to do, other than cuddle, is play with toys and play fetch every day in a big fenced in yard. I will play fetch for hours if you let me and I’ll even bring the ball back to you almost every time! I love to run, jump, play and have tons of energy. I love car rides, but I will always try to get in your lap though! I love snacks, especially treats and bones. I absolutely hate being on a leash, they scare me so I’ll need some patience while we work on that. I do well with grooming and having my nails trimmed.
I can be naughty sometimes though and get in trouble with my “corgitude.” I don’t like to share my food or share my toys. I will growl at my other siblings. I don’t like grumpy dogs either. If they are mean to me, they’re my enemy and I will fight them. But I do love playing with dogs who like me. I’ve only ever been around female dogs and I would do best with a girl. I like girls! I’m really unsure about children and my growling and attitude problem scares my human who has a ridiculously small human of her own she needs to care for. I really need a home where there are no small children.
With the right loving family, I strongly believe I can overcome my problems and be the best loyal and loving companion who will play and cuddle with you every day.”
If you think you are a great match for Ollie, please email us at: information@topoftexascorgirescue and tell us about yourself including experience, other pets, what you’re looking for (and not looking for), children in the home, etc. Generally, all you’d like us to consider on initial review of potential adopters.
