Oliver Rough Collie Houston, TX

Young, sweet, handsome Ollie is looking for his forever family. Ollie is 2-3 yr old, small at 50 lb, and is a purebred mahogany rough coated collie. His coat was badly matted and he had to be shaved, but it will regrow. He came to his foster home a little rough around the edges. My guess is he has never been a house dog. We’ve been working on jumping and climbing on people and he is much, much better now. He has never had an accident in the house. He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, and chipped. He is a healthy boy with no health issues. He is outgoing, friendly, and playful. Sometimes when he plays he gets a little worked up and is rougher with my collies than he should be. But he takes corrections from them with good humor and is improving every day. A young, playful doggie friend would suit him best. He could be an only dog so long as his exercise needs are met with a good size yard for running around and he is not left alone for long periods of time.
