Oliver is a super sweet, 10 year old, 15 lb boy who can't wait to become your best friend.

If you are looking for a dog to go on long runs and strenuous mountain hikes, this is not the dog for you ?. But if you want a gentle soul to relax by you on the couch while you read or watch your favorite show, to warm your feet in bed, to miss you when you are gone (he has the cutest little ghost-howls!) and wiggle his whole body in excitement to see you when you return, this little senior may be your man!


So what makes you the right human for him? Oliver can be a bit timid, so he needs a special someone who will give him time and space to open up on his own terms. He thrives in a calm environment where he has his own space he can retreat to if things just get too much. But as long as all members of the household are committed to letting him take the lead and not overwhelming/smothering him, he still has a lot of love left to give. He just needs to know that he’s safe! Oh, and soft squishy toys are a plus! He may be a senior, but he’s still a puppy at heart, and when the mood hits him, he’s down for a good game of chase-the-toy! He just seems to prefer soft stuffie toys to the more traditional ball.


As far as other pets go, he has done well around all sorts of other dogs. He is even perfectly fine with the foster family’s cat! What a good boy!
