OLIVE is a super cute Black Lab! She is 6 years old and she weighs 78 lbs. She has been enjoying time in a foster home, but would love a forever family of her very own!
She is sweet as can be. She's a gentle, loving and friendly girl. Olive is calm and easy to walk on a leash. She is potty trained. She’d be quite happy hanging out on the couch and watching tv with her new family! Give her a nice soft bed and a chew toy and she would be in heaven! She seems to like calmer dogs, ones that aren’t in her face all the time. She's does need to meet any potential dog siblings. Olive has met a few kiddos that have visited her foster home and she does well!

ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
