Olive Pit Bull Terrier Santa Monica, CA

Olive is an incredibly gentle and loving, dog and kid friendly, couch potato, cuddly girl. She loves playing with other dogs and going on hikes as well as cuddling up on the couch and watching TV.

Her history (what we know):
Olive was rescued off the euth list at SEAACA shelter. She came in as a stray and was still lactating. At the shelter she was TERRIFIED. She had an old jaw injury that she had surgery on. It is healed now and she is not in pain, but her tongue always hangs out (it's pretty cute) and she has a harder time eating big, hard treats. She does best with smaller bites. We also learned she seems to be deaf - this doesn't seem to stop her in anyway way though.

Olive's foster says:

"She is so easy. We love her so much. All she wants is cuddles and we’re so happy to oblige. She's definitely a velcro dog and is always looking to find her humans. She went out on a hike with our dog walker today and loved it. I’m so happy for her!!"

She is learning to be alone for short periods at a time but does best when she's with other dogs. She doesn't chew things up or bark or howl, she just definitely prefers to be in a home where humans are around often. She is so so sweet, gentle and quiet. Great with kids. Olive has definitely been through the worst and she just has so much love to give. She is looking for her forever family!
