Olga Shepherd & Rottweiler Mix Brunswick, ME

Oh sweet Olga, a 1yo shepherd mix - It’s always a mystery as to the breed, and Olga was thought to maybe be a shepherd/rottie mix, but after watching her grow, we are leaning more towards shepherd/hound mix. She is SUCH a sweet girl and loves humans so much. Here is the ideal situation for Olga - an outdoorsy person or family that loves to hike, run, walk or enjoy some type of exercise outdoors that she can join in on. She is my running buddy and loves to get the zoomies out in the backyard playing ball. Her recall is insane…I’ve never met a rescue that has such great recall without training. I take her on runs and hikes off leash regularly and she always stays close. She could definitely be a second dog if your first dog likes to play, and while she does great and is surprisingly gentle with my three kids all under 9 years old…she is a big dog and not always aware of her size so our recommendation would be older kids vs. littles. She is a big puppy and needs regular exercise as they all do, so a scenario where she is home all day alone would not be ideal for her at this age. She does great in a crate and is house trained. She is really a gem and will thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise and puppy training. She does have a sensitive stomach and would do best on a limited ingredient food.
