Oleda Boxer Hewitt, TX

Hi! My name is Oleda! I am a 2-3 year old petite flashy fawn girl that previously lived my life as a stray but am now enjoying life in my foster home! I am a happy, charming, loving girl that enjoys sunbathing or napping on the sofa! I have alot of energy that I will burn off by chasing toys, rough housing with my foster fur sister, or jump and trot with joy when greeting the humans! I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I follow the humans and resident dogs everywhere because I don't want to miss out on any fun. If I am laying down, I like to be touching a human or other dog. I am a very smart, obedient girl that wants to please and has already learned basic commands! I love belly rubs, boxing with both of my paws, and gently accepting treats! There are no kids in my foster home but when we have been walking in the neighborhood or at a public park, I have done very well being introduced calmly and kindly to kids! I am wonderful with the resident dog in my home and meeting other dogs on my walks. In regards to strangers that approach us, I am cautious and protective of my foster mom but it appears to be because I see her as my human and person that nursed me back to good health and I want to do my part and protect her. When I am with others, I do just fine and am completely 'happy go lucky' and friendly!
