Olaf Shepherd Mix Springfield, MO

"Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs." I'm not 'frozen' like my namesake, but the quote fits me perfectly. I'm a 75-pound, 2.5-year-old, loveable Shepherd-mix, goofball, with a heart of gold. I'm house-trained (if there are puddles on the floor they have to be from the snowman). I'm also crate-trained and I am good on a leash! I have spurts of energy and playfulness, but then I love to cozy up on the couch and binge-watch TV. I mean really watch TV. It fascinates me.

Maybe because I spent the majority of my life tied outside, I really appreciate the comforts of a warm home. I get along with female dogs, but I'm picky about my male canine friends. I'm also good with cats and teenage kids (I'm kinda big and goofy, so I might smaller humans over). A female, canine friend would be great, but I would be okay as your one-and-only. I will need a house setting (no apartments for me) with plenty of room to play. It's possible for me to jump a privacy fence, so I would need to be monitored when outside (it's no fun to be outside with my humans, anyway). A chain link fenced yard wouldn't work for me. My perfect forever home will be with people who are patient and committed to unconditional love and who value the same in return.
